Norman. Passed away peacefully on June 21, aged 83. Sadly missed by wife Joan, children, grandchildren, sister and all the family and many friends.

Lottie. Born April 25, 1918, Frankfurt, Germany; passed away peacefully June 18, 2012. Devoted wife to Michael. A loyal servant to WIZO. Deeply loved and sadly missed by family and friends. Survived by 11 nephews and nieces and their children and predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, parents Sali and Irma Kaufmann and five siblings and their spouses Henry Kaufmann, Inge and Roz; Ellen Schlesinger with Fritz; Hilda Reiter with Gerhard; Analiesa Goldberg with Shmuel and Erwin Kaufmann with Ellen, Lottie was in turn a refugee, a Zionist and an anglophile, and was ever grateful to her adopted home and the people who welcomed and sheltered her.

Denise. Died June 22, aged 86, after a long and full life. Much loved and greatly mourned. Wife of 60 years to Roy, mother of Colin and Brian, sister of Rhona, sister-in-law of Tony and grandmother of Ela, Neta, Emma, Jonathan, Tomer and Aviv.

Colin. My dearly beloved husband, and best friend. His love, strength and kindness have enriched my life and the lives of everyone who has known him. He truly embodied carpe diem. I will cherish all our wonderful memories and love and miss him forever and “always”.— Gillian.

Hayley. On Shabbat, Tammuz 3, a shining light departed our world when Hayley, our darling daughter, sister and aunty, lost her battle with cancer, which she fought with courage, dignity and faith. She will be sorely missed by her parents Stanley and Suzanne Kushner, siblings and spouses Jill and Ian Baker, Alison and Abe Ezekiel, Emily and Ittai Ben-Ze’ev, Nigel and Vanessa Kushner, Jamie and Rivka Kushner and nephews and nieces Rafi, Liat, Hannah, Jamie, Sara, Ben, Tamara, Sam, Rebecca, Zak, Jake, Matty, Miri, Mazal and Eli. Hayley touched the hearts of all who knew her with her warmth, sense of humour and wonderful Middos. She will be in our hearts forever.

Jeff (Liverpool). Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 19. A big character with a joyous appetite for life; his warmth and intelligence will be missed by everyone who met him. Never forgotten by Lynn, Josh, Poppy, Joyce and Lily.

Stanley. Our lovely dad, grandpa and great-grandpa died peacefully on June 24, in his 98th year; gone to be with his beloved Kit, without whom he just could not live. A truly unique man, who broke the mould. We will miss him so much.— Jenny, John, Candy, Brian, Rachel, David, Jonah, Sadie, Oliver, Jemma, Lucy and Margery Sylvester.

Ethel. Passed away peacefully May 25, aged 100. Will be greatly missed by her daughter Ruth, son-in-law Gerald, granddaughters Katie and Anna, with husband Adam, greatgranddaughters Lydia and Polly, relatives and friends. A beautiful and indomitable lady, never to be forgotten.

Robert. A truly inspirational, remarkable and much loved gentleman. Now reunited with his beloved “princess”, Sylvia. Renowned for his sharp mind, compassionate, selfless nature, love for Judaism, community and family. Devoted husband, adored father, beloved grandfather and much loved greatgranddad. Leaves a huge void, but wonderful memories, in the lives of Vivien, Terence, John, Debbie, Neil, Nick, Trevor, Alan, Jess, Daniel, Jackson and Sophie.

David. My dearest, good, kind, wonderful boy, who fought his cruel illness so bravely and kept his faith throughout, will be loved and missed forever.— Mum.
