Words and music of being Jewish

- BY ANNA SHEINMAN

SUBMISSIONS FOR our Jewish identity project with JW3, the Jewish Community Centre for London, on what being Jewish means to you have continued to fill up our inbox.

The plan is to bury a time-capsule of people’s 50-word testimonies in the grounds of the new building in Swiss Cottage on March 6.

We have had entries from whole families, workplaces and care homes, from Aberdeenshire to Golders Green, as the project captures the national imagination.

This week, we asked people who have made contributions to Jewish culture what being Jewish means to them.

Go to www.myjewishidentity.co.uk and submit your 50 words, an image, a video or a voice file. And don’t forget our Jewish identity art competition for schools, too — details on the site.
