All change at Woodford!
FOOTBALL Tony Charles says that he will consider offloading some players after Woodford Wanderers were beaten 3-1 by FC Team A ine xtra-time.
A double from Marc Harris and one from Adam Rones sent Team through, with Harrison Midda replying.
Charles commented: “It was a poor performance from Woodford, and possibly the last for some players.”
FC Team manager Mitch Young said: “It was a good battling performance against a talented Woodford side. We missed a shed-load of easy chances to kill the game earlier. Overall I am pleased to progress to the next round in what could have been a real banana skin.”
Elsewhere in the Morrison, Greg Corin and Yoav Kestenbaum were Hendon A goal men as they won an evening kick-off 2-1 against Southgate Harmen. Sam Castlepulle done back.
Hendon boss David Garbacz said: “Enormous credit should go to both teams for pulling out all the stops in order toget this game played.”
Harmen joint-manager Joel Alterman commented: “All in all it was a performance that every single Harmen player could be proud of — a team of mostly new faces coming up against an experienced team from the top-flight.

Norstar London Raiders A maintained their treble hopes with a crushing 9-1 win over second division strugglers London Haroldeans. There were braces for Josh Green, David Dinkin and Matt Stock, plus one apiece from Jonny Blain and player-manager Phil Peters as NL Rover--powered their opponents.
Ric Blank said Oakwood A “controlled the game from start to finish” as they destroyed Hendon B 5-1 with goals from Guy Helman, Brad Wine, Jonny Quinn(2) and Josh Rose.
Blank said: “It was a solid performormance on the 3g. Wwe showed the patience you need to get a result on that surface.”
Jamie Kent (3), Stefan Benfredj (2) and Saul Conway (2) were on the mark as Shirley Park eliminated Athletic Bilbaum 7-3.
London Maccabi Lions White recorded their third consecutive win as they put their Premier Division worries aside with a handsome 4-1 victory over third division Boca Jewniors. Strikes from Sam Shooter, Jamie Belchak, Ozzy Doron and James Gershfield eased them through. Topscorscorer Dovi Fehler grabbed a conso solation for Boca.
Two more goals from Adam S Stolerman and one from Dann ny Berg earned Redbridge Jewish Care A their fifth win of the season as they closed the gap at the top of the MGBSFL Premier Di Division with a 3-0 success over Camden Park.
RJC boss Sam Rosenthal commented: “The hotchocolate at half-time helped and I’m not sure Camden really fancied a cold January day out in Essex.”
A brace from Mike Kenley maintained Brady Maccabi A’s title challenge with a 3-1 success over LML Blue. Adam Arnold clinched the points in a one-sided game.
NLR B marched eight points clear at the top of Division Two after completing a league double over Oakwood B. Strikes from Andrew Mc Master and Dave Esterkin clinched the points. Josh Marlow netted for Oakwood.
An 85th minute strike from Josh Karpf ensured a share of the spoils for King Crown in a six-goal thriller against bottom team Temple Fortune. Yoel Dealand Benji Green blatt were the other marksmen. Fortune’s goals came through Gideon Wetrin, Zack Richand RobJay.
King Crown boss Jacob Kadoch described the result as “a very harsh lesson in what happens when you don’t finish your dinner.”
