FAIR PLAY AT ROSH PINAH JEWISH PRIMARY

PUPILS AT Rosh Pinah Jewish Primary School have been given the Barnet Schools Fair Play Award.

Adam Kayne, Joseph Nahon, Joshua Barbanel, Jonah Sontag, Zak Samuels, Manny Cuby and Eyal Kjisik were commended for their “excellent sportsmanship” during the Maccabi Year Three/Four tournament on Tuesday.

During the final match, the opposition’s goalkeeper was hit in the face by a ball, allowing Rosh Pinah to score the rebound goal. The team decided it was only fair to give a free goal to their opponents.
