Jacobs on fire for Belmont
CRICKET ADAM Jacobs led from the front in Belmont & Edgware’s fourwicket defeat against Edgware CC.
Captain Jacobs came to the crease with the score on 49-3 and, together with Michael Blasebalk (32), added 123 in 22 overs.
Jacobs smashed two elegant sixes on his way to an unbeaten 92 as BECC closed on 223-7. Bension Tilley and Jacobs picked up two wickets apiece but Edgware won with three overs to spare.
