Herts is a sound choice
LUXURIES SUCH as a Sonos sound system and a wine cooler are included in every home at St Margaret’s Park, Bushey, by Crest Nicholson. You can see for yourself, in the new show home, The Regent, a fivebedroom family house. Set in gated grounds, St Margaret’s Park has 26 new and refurbished properties — one- and two-bedroom apartments and three-, five- and sixbedroom homes.
David Hnyda, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, says potential buyers are drawn by the “suburban setting within easy reach of some fantastic schooling, local amenities and transport connections”.
Prices at St Margaret’s Park start at £429,950 for a two-bedroom apartment, or just £343,960 with Help to Buy. Three-bedroom houses start at £879,950 and five-bedroom houses at £1,650,000.
At Windmill Place, Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire developer Heronslea Group has just two (one- and two-bedroom) apartments left to sell, out of 29 apartments and 22 three- to fivebedroom family houses.
The scheme is centred on a village green. Prices are from £399,950 through new homes specialist Preston Bennett.
Jason Rishover, Heronslea’s chief executive, says: “Bushey Heath has become a sought-after location and is popular with young professionals working in London, as it represents much better value for money than homes in the capital, yet has great commuter links.”
There are three apartments still for sale at Renaissance in Hadley Wood, also built by Heronslea. A winner at the UK Property Awards in 2016, the scheme has eight three-bedroom apartments in gated grounds. There is a galleried entrance and hotel-style concierge, basement parking with visitor spaces and lift access to all homes. Apartments are arranged across three storeys and have solid wood floors, heated from beneath.
Hadley Wood is one of the most upmarket villages in Hertfordshire. Surrounded by parks and green belt, Renaissance is close to Trent Park, with its 400 acres of greenery, as well as Hadley Wood Village, with its shops, restaurants, pubs and boutiques.
Other nearby leisure facilities include the Alister Mackenziedesigned course at Hadley Wood Golf Club and Hadley Wood Tennis Club. Cockfosters tube station is 10 minutes’ walk away.
Prices at Renaissance start from £1.795 million. Agent is Statons.
