DEATHS

ABELSON. Meir (Cyril Montague). Dearly loved father passed away peacefully on Iyar 1, 5778 (April 16, 2018), in Jerusalem. Now together with his wife Elaine and son Michael. We will miss him forever.— Judi Lynn, Debbie Bloom, Daniel Abelson and families.

CROMBIE. Jacqueline (Jacqui). A wonderful wife to Michael passed away on April 10, aged 70, after being a resident at the Princess Alexandra Home for the past two years. She left us too soon.

FRANKS. Angela. Beloved mother, grandmothe­r and greatgrand­mother passed away after a long illness. Missed by daughters Lynne and Sue and all their families both here, in Canada, the States and New Zealand.

GREEN. Lynn. Passed away April 10, 2018, aged 88. Much loved by Lionel, her partner for nearly 35 years, sons Michael and partner Suzi, Stephen and daughter-in-law Annette, grandchild­ren Jamie, Ellis, Alana, Nick, Shareei, Jazz and Beth-Ann, great-granddaugh­ter Lily Rose, brothers Walter and Stanley and sister-in-law Anita. Second mum to Lisa, Richard and Dawn and Howard and Debbie, nieces, nephews and a vast circle of friends. May my sweetheart dance with the angels.

HART. Harold MBE. Passed away April 11, 2018. His sensitivit­y, modesty, compassion and brilliant sense of humour will live on in the hearts of his wife Gillian, children Pamela and Carolyn, sons-inlaw, grandchild­ren and greatgrand­child.

HART. Harold. A wonderful uncle and our very dearest friend, who only brought pleasure and happiness to all around him. We will miss him always.— Lionel, Ruth, Eva, Sam, Lee, Dee, Paul, Selina and Will.

LANDY. Brian. A man who smiled through adversity is now at peace. A loving husband, father, grandfathe­r and brother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

PELTON. Leonard. April 11, 2018. Our dear Uncle Len, a Gooner to the end, who lost his battle with the march of time, died in Oaklands, California, aged 91. He is now reunited with Auntie Janice. Our condolence­s and love to cousin Charles. Moo, Len, Reen and Ralph all together again.— Malcolm, Beverley, Julian and all their families.

SILVER. Ruth (previously Rumack, òXÞN[ @^]Q QK\ UNO] ^\ 3NNYUā mourned by husband Michael, son David, brother Malcolm and all her extended family. Loved by all who knew her. A deep loss to us all. She will be missed.

SILVER. Ruth. Passed away after a short illness. We were friends for 47 years and she will be sadly missed by Jackie, Henry and family.

SONN. Percy. Died aged 90, on April 12 (Yom HaShoah). He is deeply mourned by his ever-loving daughter Francine and son David, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and grandchild­ren. He was devoted to his family, his profession and his community and respected and admired by all who knew him. He is now at peace and reunited with his beloved Daphne.
