Ort chief moving on to Jewish Care
ORT UK chief executive Adam Overlander-Kaye is quitting the charity to become Jewish Care’s director of fundraising and community engagement.
Mr Overlander-Kaye — who previously worked in fundraising for Reform Judaism and UJIA — said he was “excited and humbled at the opportunity to be part of the team at Jewish Care.
“It is an organisation at the very heart of our community, carrying out essential services every day to thousands of people. Having worked across the community for over 20 years, I know how important Jewish Care’s work is.”
He looked back on “a fantastic two years leading Ort UK, working along- side a great professional and lay leadership team.
“Over the past two years, we have increased income by more than 25 per cent and grown our programmes in the UK. I will always be passionate about Ort’s focus on promoting education and training.”
In another appointment by new Jewish Care chief executive Daniel Carmel-Brown, Ellisa Estrin has been promoted from assistant director of marketing to director of marketing, communications and customer engagement.
She joined the charity ten years ago, having worked for a number of London advertising agencies, and has taken on roles of increasing
responsibility.
