Getting ahead with van Gogh

-

A bust of van Gogh will be installed next Friday afternoon in the South London street named after the artist, Van Gogh Walk in Brixton.

It has been sculpted by Jewish artist Anthony Padgett (above) and is part of his “A Year of Vincent” project, which will see van Gogh busts placed at other sites in the UK and Europe.

Van Gogh lived in the adjacent street in South London when he worked as an art dealer in Covent Garden.
