INTERNATIONAL Trade Minister Liam Fox flew to Tel Aviv this week to meet Benjamin Netanyahu, as part of a trip to boost trade between the two countries after Brexit.

Dr Fox arrived on Monday evening and met “major Israeli investors and fast-growing tech companies”, as well as the Prime Minister.

His trip is due to last “several days” as he discusses a new deal to replace the EU-Israel Association Agreement, to which Britain has been party as a member of the EU.

The Department for International Trade said it was “seeking to replicate EU free trade agreements and other EU preferential arrangements”.
