Joe Jacobson and Scott Kashket helped Wycombe Wanderers complete back to back wins in League One. Left-back Jacobson, 32, fired a superb angled drive into the top corner in the 3-2 win over Shrewsbury Town last weekend. Kashket, 22, came off the bench to help Wycombe overturn a one-goal deficit to beat Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night. He almost scored with his first touch before registerin­g an equaliser 11 minutes after joining the action in the 2-1 victory that lifted Wycombe into 10th position.

Lee Goldberg registered his first goal for London Lions as the holders moved into the semi-finals of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One Cup following a 4-1 win over Langford. Adam Bolle (2) and Adam Arnold sealed the win.

Saul Conway maintained his excellent run of goal-scoring form with a hat-trick as Lions Vets reached the last eight of the Garston League Invitation­al Cup. Daniel Stanton (2), Mike Pearson, David Soutar, Adam Myeroff, Craig Pearl and Max Radford were also on the scoresheet in the 10-3 triumph over Rayners Lane to set up a tie against holders Tansley.

Temple Fortune manager Andy Montlake praised his team’s battling qualities after goals from James Ryan (2) and Dean Ingram earned Temple Fortune a 3-3 draw against Glenthorne in the Maccabi Masters League. Amir Nathan, Gary Adams and Adam Lennard accounted for the Glenthorne strikes. Montlake described his team as: “magnificen­t — they played some lovely football, keeping a couple of Glenthorne’s best players relatively quiet.” Darren Coon’s treble guided EHRS Stonegrove to their fourth win. Russell Rich, Martin Seifert and Jon Holman secured a 6-3 victory over Marshside. Marc Davis (2) and Sacha Alter replied.

Sean Cooper (2), Bobby Fishel and an own goal boosted Haroldeans’ title hopes after they beat North End 4-1 in Division One of the Liverpool Business League. Cooper scored twice in the opening 15 minutes. North End pulled one back from the penalty spot and pushed Haroldeans back, but the home defence stood firm. Fishel made it 3-1 before they were gifted another. Haroldeans assistantm­anager Fraser Saville said: “We played some good football and created plenty of chances. The result should have been even more convincing.”

Leeds Maccabi became the first Maccabi team to reach a cup final this season, beating Reich 3-1 in the Tony Cohen Cup. With the scores level at 1-1 from the first leg, Rafi Kaye (2) and Oliver Jacobs steered Leeds to victory. Zak Feingold scored Reich’s consolatio­n. A second-half strike from top-scorer Ben Gould gave South Manchester 2nd the advantage going into their semi-final second leg against Maccabi Manchester Masters.
