Care home wins plaudits

HANNAH LEVY House care home in Bournemout­h has been rated good overall, and in all five inspection categories, by the Care Quality Commission.

The 34-capacity home had 27 residents when the CQC inspected. It found that staff were well trained and knowledgea­ble and managed medicines safely.

Food was home-cooked and nutritious and residents were treated with respect and dignity, being supported to have maximum control of their lives.

The management team was “approachab­le and respected”, with a programme of quality checks and audits in place “to ensure the quality of the service was maintained with an emphasis on seeking continual improvemen­t”.
