Rocket and balloons prompt Gaza response

THE IDF struck Hamas targets in northern Gaza over the weekend after a rocket fired from the strip was intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defence system.

An Israeli military helicopter also attacked two Hamas positions after a cluster of balloons and a drone-like glider were launched from Gaza.

The items landed in a carrot field in Sdot Negev, south Israel.
