Happy birthday

Mitzvah Day is now so entrenched in the community that it is scarcely credible that it is only 10 years old. It is a simple idea but also a thing of profound wonder and joy — with tens of thousands of people every year giving their time and energy to do something for others. This week’s awards showed the variety of projects, from one child’s birthday party to an entire village. The JC wishes everyone involved a hearty Mazel Tov!
