Young adults see the world and save lives

-

AFTER A highly successful 2018, Young World Jewish Relief is looking forward to “an action-packed year, full of amazing opportunities to engage with the work of World Jewish Relief”. Take the chance to meet new people, visit some beautiful venues across London and participate in innovative and creative events, all for a good cause.

Young World Jewish Relief is the young adult arm of World Jewish Relief, the British Jewish community’s international humanitarian agency. Formed more than ten years ago, Young World Jewish Relief strives to provide a wide array of opportunities, in and around the London area, to engage with friends in a non-coercive, fun and engaging environment.

Through a generous partnership with the Genesis Philanthropy Group, Young World Jewish Relief had an exciting 2018, with events at the House of Lords, co-working spaces in trendy Shoreditch, art galleries in Fitzrovia, quizzes in north London and socials at the beautiful Bevis Marks Synagogue. As well as raising money for the work of the charity, these events shone a light on the important humanitarian work of the charity around the world.

For the third year in a row, Young World Jewish Relief will be taking a group of young adults to Ukraine, to witness first-hand the transformative projects in the area to support the Jewish community.

In March 2019, the group will be visiting the fascinating city of Lviv, Dancing at a Ukrainian restaurant in Krivoy Rog on a World Jewish Relief young adults’ trip

to explore Jewish history, as well as a range of World Jewish Relief projects.

Whether you are interested in the world of international development

or want to meet like-minded young adults at fun events and trips, Young World Jewish Relief has something to offer for everyone.
