Australians slam Malka Leifer delay claim

Community leaders have criticised an Israeli minister who allegedly moved to block the extradition of a woman wanted over sex abuse allegations.

The Zionist Federation of Australia said Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman should be fired over claims he tried to pressure a psychiatrist into falsely saying Malka Leifer is mentally unfit to be extradited.

Ms Leifer is accused of abusing pupils when she was head of the Orthodox Adass Yisroel girls school in Melbourne.
