AT least one national media outlet managed to take the Purim bait last week, picking up our confected story about fear of hamantaschen being reduced from their traditional three sides to two, owing to Brexitrelated shortages.

“Triangular shape of hamantaschen under threat due to Brexit, rabbi warns,” the unwitting website reported.

The author of our story author, Meg Illah, offered us a comment but it was ten chapters long and written on a scroll, so we have decided not to run it.
