MMK’s new headteache­r

MIRIAM KAYE (below), the deputy head of Sacks Morasha Primary in Finchley, has been chosen as the new headteache­r of Mathilda MarksKenne­dy Jewish Primary in Mill Hill.

She will succeed Jillian Dunstan, who is bowing out after

11 years in charge.

Mrs Kaye came with “a wealth of experience, passion for education and a firm belief in maintainin­g the nurturing and warm environmen­t for which MMK is well known and loved,” chairman of governors Stuart Appleman and vice-chairman Aaron Livingston told parents.

She arrives in September, in time for the start of the school’s jubilee celebratio­ns.

The governors said Mrs Dunstan had provided “strong and focused leadership” and they were “exceptiona­lly proud” of achievemen­ts during that period such as an outstandin­g Jewish studies inspection.
