Free school gets good report
LEEDS JEWISH Free School has maintained its good Ofsted rating following an inspection last month.
Inspectors found “a clear vision” for the school, which they described as “welcoming, safe and secure. Pupils really appreciate the way staff work with them to achieve the best they can.”
They also noted that the school had grown considerably since the last inspection, an expansion handled “highly effectively”.
Among suggested next steps were that “developments in English, and other subjects across the school, continue to improve pupils’ literary skills”.
Executive head Susy Jagger said that “hot on the heels of seeing LJFS come second in the city in its first set of GCSE results, we are delighted with our Ofsted report and feel it captures the essence and ethos of our school very accurately”.
