GOOD REPORT FROM CARE WATCHDOG

-

THE supported living service of Kisharon has been rated as good overall by the Care Quality Commission — and outstanding in the responsiveness category.

Inspectors praised the charity for “recognising and valuing” its clients’ potential. They reported “a positive and vibrant culture throughout the service which came from the providers.

“People told us staff were caring and how their well-being had improved from the support they have received.”

Also highlighted was the charity’s adult employment programme, which sources work placements and prepares clients for all aspects of the workplace.

New Kisharon chief executive Richard Franklin was “pleased the CQC found staff to be passionate and proud to work for Kisharon and felt valued and motivated.

“It is a validation of the open listening culture we have worked so hard to encourage.”
