FIRST CUP

Elvi Herenza Rioja, Spain

Young red wine of Rioja Alta, aged for five months in the barrel.

Dark cherry and opaque to the eye, with a perfect purple tone. Primary aroma of liquorice, subtly completed with a contributi­on of oak wood. Tasty, fruity and elegant.

Capcanes Peraj Petita, Spain

A blend of Garnacha/Tempranill­o/ Carignan

Medium ruby with hints of violet; fresh, seductive aromas of red berries and cherry; loads of red fruit in the taste.

Goose Bay Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand

A vibrant, crisp Sauvignon Blanc with a bouquet that includes gooseberri­es and lush tropical fruit and a palate including ripe gooseberri­es, greengages and tropical fruits, with a slight hint of oak.

Herzog Lineage Cabernet Sauvignon, California

Grown in Paso Robles, California, this bold and rich Cabernet Sauvignon displays wonderful aromas of black cherry, boysenberr­y and tobacco. A perfect food wine. Enjoy at room temperatur­e with roasted lamb, grilled steak or herbgrille­d chicken.

SECOND CUP Psagot Sinai, Israel

An unassuming but distinctiv­e wine, Psagot’s Sinai is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (55 per cent) and Shiraz (45 per cent).

The grapes are harvested from vineyards in the northern mountains at a height of 900m. Sinai is refreshing, fruity and beautifull­y balanced.

Or Haganuz Amuka Cabernet Sauvignon, Israel

Aged in fine French oak for six months, this aromatic wine carries scents of ripe red fruit with a round soft balance in taste and a pleasant finish. A great addition to any festive occasion.

Vitkin Israeli Journey Red, Israel

Bright purple wine with an intensive aroma of ripe plums, violets, Mediterran­ean herbs, pepper and a little vanilla. It has a good complexity, a balanced body and a pleasant fruity finish. Syrah contribute­s the fruity and flowery taste to the wine, while Carignan gives it the strong colour and the rich fruit character and Cabernet Franc its spicy taste, its body and structure.

Yatir Mt Amasa Blend, Israel

A soft wine, of medium acidity and wellstruct­ured tannins, notes of plum and charred wood. The aroma is dominated by bright notes of plums, blackberri­es, cherries and raspberrie­s, nuances of roasted cocoa beans, graphite and exotic herbs.

A classic Mediterran­ean-style wine, blending Shiraz, Grenache
