Tree book keeps bearing fruit

BEFORE Jewish American author, songwriter and cartoonist Shel Silverstein died in 1999, his children’s children’s book The Giving Tree had already become a global smash hit. But now the muchloved work, about a little boy’s relationship with a tree, has been named by Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle as the book she’s most looking forward to reading to her son, Archie. It really is the gift that keeps on giving.
