Is my hotel bathroom free? There’s an app for that
THE THRIVING Israeli Brown Hotels chain is to open two “pod hotels” in Tel Aviv in the coming months, charging £38 per night for a space of two square metres that includes a wardrobe and a work desk. This will make it slightly larger than the classic Japanese capsule. The Israeli hotels will have larger pods for couples, and a shower and bathroom for every four pods, which will be connected to an app telling the guests if the bathroom is available.
