Murder-plot neo-Nazi paedophile jailed for life

JACK RENSHAW, the neo-Nazi paedophile, has been jailed for life for plotting to murder a Labour MP.

Renshaw, 23, conspired to kill Rosie Cooper and the detective who was investigating him over child abuse.

During his trial, jurors watched a video of a speech he delivered to the Yorkshire Forum for Nationalists in 2016 in which he said Hitler had “showed mercy to people who did not deserve mercy”, adding: “You do not show the Jew mercy.”

As he conspired to carry out the killings, someone suggested he target a synagogue and he was alleged to have responded: “All Jews are the same, they’re all vermin.”

He was sentenced on Friday at the Old Bailey to life imprisonment with a minimum tariff of 20 years. Journalists reported he gave what may have been a Nazi salute as he was led away to the cells.

Ms Cooper said: “Justice has been served... Not for me personally, but for every MP and public servant, and for our democratic way of life which affords us the privilege of free speech, without fear of violent retribution.”

She continued: “My deepest wish is that this case is the last occasion when any public servant, any politician, has their life threatened for simply doing their job.”

The plot — hatched during a meeting at a Warrington pub — was exposed by Robbie Mullen, who was working as a mole for anti-racism campaigners Hope Not Hate.

After Renshaw was convicted, the press were able to report that he had also demanded obscene photographs from teenage boys before molesting them.

He plotted to take Ms Cooper hostage and draw in DC Victoria Henderson, the detective who exposed his abuse of underage boys, into a deadly ambush.

He had engaged in sex with a 15-year-old after demanding he sent pictures of his genitals. Renshaw made another boy, between the ages of 13 and 14, take a photo of his buttocks and send it to him after they engaged in “touching of a sexual nature”.

He was convicted of grooming the boys in June last year at Preston Crown Court before he went on trial at the Old Bailey over the murder plot.

Renshaw, of Skelmersdale, Lancashire, twice stood trial for belonging to far-right National Action, along with 34-year-old Andrew Clarke, Latham Close, Trubini, of Dutton Court, Warrington, Cheshire, and Michal Trubini, 36. But a second Old Bailey jury failed to reach a verdict on the membership charge against them after deliberating for 48 hours and 13 minutes at the end of a month-long retrial.
