MENORAH SHINES FOR INSPECTORS

OFSTED has congratulated Karen Kent, headteacher of the Menorah Foundation School in Edgware, for improvements made since its last inspection four years ago.

The Orthodox primary retained its ranking as a good school, with the inspectorate noting progress in early years and in English and maths. Mrs Kent had “successfully addressed” several of the recommendations made in the relatively short time since she took on the job.

She oversaw a “capable team of middle leaders”, supported by “highly effective” governors, Ofsted reported.
