Wonder kids ready to impress at JCC

SPORT MACCABI GB will take a delegation of 35 athletes to compete at the JCC Maccabi Games in Detroit, Michigan next month.

Janice and Ian Aarons will lead the squad for the fourth time, with Jordan Sapler combining the roles of General Team Manager and U14 football manager.

Janice Aarons said: “Ian and I are very proud of the determinat­ion and commitment of all our managers and athletes and I know they will do Team GB proud.”

The JCC Maccabi Games take place between August 1-11 and provide an opportunit­y for young athletes under the age of 16 to represent their country in America through a large sporting environmen­t.

Sapler said: “Having previously been on these Games, I know how much they can influence and help develop all participan­ts who will have a wonderful time.”

“The ability to make lifelong friends from the various different delegation­s whilst playing at a high sporting level is what sets this event apart from different trips at this age.”
