A “full immersion” art show in Liverpool uses virtual reality to celebrate the work of Jewish Italian painter Amedeo Modigliani
AN art show celebrating the work of one of Italy’s greatest Jewish painters, Amedeo Modigliani, has opened in Liverpool. Running until September 30 at 26 Bold Street, Modigliani Opera is a multi-media exhibition featuring a 360-degree cinema, 4,000 video screens and a virtual reality hub allowing viewers to fully immerse themselves in the work of the Sephardic artist. The show has recently toured major cities in Italy, attracting a diverse audience.
