Jude is in peak condition for meningitis charity
BARMITZVAH BOY Jude Cannon has hit the heights for Meningitis Now, climbing Mount Snowdon with his dad Adam to raise close to £2,000.
Four years ago, Jude was rushed to hospital after developing the symptoms of meningitis.
“It was a terribly frightening time for all of us,” his father recalled.
“Luckily, it became apparent after a few days that he had the non-life threatening form of meningitis.
“We always say he dodged a bullet and remain committed to raising awareness of meningitis.”
Jude, who will be barmitzvah at Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue next March, said he wanted to help others “whose lives have been changed by meningitis. Amazingly, mine hasn’t been and I am able to climb mountains.”
