Show homes are where the heart is

- BY BAMBOS HARALAMBOUS

Despite what has been well-publicised as a “challenging” market, properties continue to sell to those who have a need to move. No doubt transactional activity is lower than at the peak of the market, however buyer registrations are considerably up on last year and many buyers who were on hold have re-engaged with the market.

We have seen prices stabilising over

recent months and properties that are perceived as sensibly and reasonably priced are generating activity and selling at the asking prices.

First impressions are crucial. When purchasers view the properties, it is important the lifestyle available is presented in the best possible way.

Exquisitely interior-designed, clean and accessible show homes have become a necessary tool to achieve this. Whether selling off-plan or a finished product, the property needs to allow buyers to get a real feel for the offering.

in the quality of developments in north west London, with our current luxury schemes offering exceptional homes at sensible prices. Oakley Gardens, between Child’s Hill and Hampstead Village, is an example of this — offering one-, two- and three-bedroom

apartments and townhouses ranging from £595,000 to £1,664,250. Further evidence of this quality is offered in retirement homes by Pegasus Life, such as Belle Vue in Hampstead, now 35 per cent sold. Prices start at £860,000 for a one-bedroom apartment.
