Educator to ‘power ZF into future’
HASMONEAN HIGH director of learning for science Joshua Forman is the Zionist Federation’s new executive director.
Mr Forman, who will take up the post in January, has spent 10 years in the education sector, six of them in Jewish schools.
ZF chair Paul Charney described him as “highly driven, passionate and engaging. He comes to the ZF with a heartfelt passion for Zionism and new and refreshing ideas.
Mr Forman said the “opportunity to lead the organisation which was specifically named in the Balfour Declaration is an absolute honour.
“The value of education is something very close to my heart and with my passion for Zionism, I am looking forward to the challenge of drawing upon the historical standing of the ZF to power it into the future.”
