Memorial tribute to dementia campaigner

JEWISH CARE has paid tribute to a key supporter and fundraiser, Morella Kayman, following her death. Co-founder and vice-president of the Alzheimer’s Society, Ms Kayman also established the Alzheimer’s Disease Golf Society, raising funds for Jewish Care dementia services. Jewish Care chief executive Daniel Carmel-Brown said: “Morella began campaigning in the 1970s at a time when dementia was something that was swept under the carpet. She worked relentlessly to increase society’s understanding.”
