Poppy transport

Your report on the Iranian discovery of poppy seeds as an alternative fuel for cars was fascinating (Israel uncovers secret Iranian project to fuel cars using poppy seeds, 26 February).

I’d used mine all up in cooking, so I did the next best thing and squeezed a whole hamantasch into the fuel tank.

The car stalled!

Regarding the article about Iran using poppyseed as fuel, may we hope that soon we shall hear of Israel launching a space rocket accompanied by Frank Sinatra singing “Fly me with the Mohn”.
