CST appeal raises £4 million

THE COMMUNITY Security Trust has raised more than £4 million from a digital fundraising drive, smashing its initial target in under 24 hours.

Its appeal, Together We Protect, attracted around 7,000 donations, with a group of donors matching all contributions. CEO Mark Gardner said it had been “fantastic to see the support from across our British Jewish community. A lot of our volunteers, staff and trustees have commented on feeling very moved, both with the donations [and] the messages of support. It has left us highly motivated and with an even greater sense of partnership.”
