Prince’s shop talk 1 March, 1968

-

V PRINCE PHILIP wanted to meet personally every one of the guests at the dinner of the Jewish Welfare Board at St James’s Palace on Tuesday. When he greeted Rabbi Maurice Unterman and his wife —who resided over the Marble Arch Synagogue— the Prince asked where they lived. “Above the shop,” Mrs Unterman said. “Just like us,” the Duke retorted.
