£220k fundraiser is just the job for Resource

-

EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT charity Resource raised more than £220,000 for its activities from a 36-hour campaign on Sunday and Monday. The matched funding drive exceeded its £200,000 target and chief executive Victoria Sterman said “the campaign has helped us reach thousands of people who wouldn’t otherwise have known of Resource”.

Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis and Baroness Altmann were among those who sent messages of support, the latter noting: “It’s clear that so many in our community have not got employment at the moment and it is the highest form of charity to try to help people into work.”
