Unmentionable...

Barry Hyman’s letter (Not just for pesach, 9 April) reminds me that my mum always used to give her cleaning lady a box of matzah on Pesach.

One year the cleaning lady reported that the matzah was very well received at home and was especially tasty with a slice of ham on top. Funnily enough, we hadn’t thought of that topping.
