Muslim man charged over vicious London assaults
A 28-YEAR-OLD British Muslim man has been charged in connection with the unprovoked attacks on Jews in Stamford Hill two weeks ago.
Abdullah Qureshi is suspected of carrying out five racially aggravated assaults on Wednesday, 18 August.
Thames Magistrates’ Court remanded him in custody, with the judge describing the allegations as “very serious.”
The five attacks included one incident in which a 14-year-old boy was punched in the face.
In another, a 64-year-old man was struck in the face. He suffered facial injuries and fell to the ground, breaking a bone in his foot.
