Where to learn Judeo-French

IF DUOLINGO’S Yiddish course has left you wanting more, why not get stuck into Karaim or Judeo-French? The University of Oxford’s Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies has unveiled 12 free online classes on rare Jewish languages dating back to the Middle Ages. The centre’s president Professor Judith Olszowy-Schlanger told the JTA recently that despite “brilliant research projects”, interested students lacked opportunities to learn these languages.
