YEAR OF EVENTS TO MARK 1,900TH MILESTONE
A HUGE year is coming up for one of the North East’s most famous historic attractions.
Incredibly, it’s 1,900 years since the Roman Army completed the 73 mile-long Hadrian’s Wall, running from Wallsend in the east to Bowness-on-Solway in the west.
For almost the whole entirety of 2022, The Hadrian’s Wall 1900 Festival will mark this epic milestone with events and celebrations along the length of the Wall, with all the biggest events confirmed so far in our guide:
