More final tickets are released

-

SUNDERLAND will now have 46,460 supporters at Wembley Stadium after an additional request for tickets was granted by the EFL.

The Black Cats were granted a further 2,500 tickets, some of which have a restricted view, for the League One play-off final.

The club has also revealed that there will be no further ticket allocations once the recent batch of tickets sells out.

The club has already made two requests to increase allocation, with Wycombe Wanderers unable to sell out their allocation.

The Chairboys will be backed by 22,000 fans under the Wembley Arch, which will still leave some sections of the stadium empty.

Sunderland released a statement on Wednesday which said: “SAFC has made continuous representations to the EFL and Wembley Stadium throughout the week to increase the Club’s ticket allocation and we are pleased this request has been granted.

“Supporters are advised this will be the Club’s final additional ticket allocation and no further tickets will be released for this fixture.”
