End this state-sponsored horror

After your revelation that the doctor whose mistake led to a couple having their child taken away from them had made a similar error before, surely it’s time to draw a line under state-sponsored child abduction. Radiologist Dr Jo Fairhurst’s misdiagnosis of a blood disorder led to Karrissa Cox and Richard Carter being accused of abuse and their baby was adopted. They were later cleared of wrongdoing.

We are getting sick and tired of the way our Government and judiciary treat kind, caring and law-abiding parents with such contempt.

If we commit contempt in their courts we are dealt with, yet they continually commit contempt against us and nothing is done about it.

As sad as it is for the couples who have adopted such children, they should go against the court’s wishes and give the babies back to their natural mothers.
