Jonny Owen’s documentary, I Believe in Miracles, tells how Clough transformed Nottingham Forest from a Second Division team to European Cup winners in four years. ‘Old Big Ead’ joined Forest in January 1975, won promotion in 1977, the First Division title in 1978 and, the following May, Trevor Francis’ header against Malmo in Munich (above) brought the European Cup, a feat Forest repeated against Hamburg the following year.
