CARDIFF manager Russell Slade was left to rue a penalty claim as they were held at Preston.
Craig Noone went down under a challenge from Bailey Wright, and Slade said: ‘It looks a strong, strong claim for a penalty.
‘Even the centre-half who he spoke to admitted it was a penalty, but we just don’t seem to be getting them at the minute.’
Neither struggling Preston nor play-off hopefuls Cardiff could break the deadlock despite 35 efforts on goal – just three of them on target.
