WALSALL fought back from 2-0 down only to concede a stoppagetime equaliser. Bury manager Chris Brass said: ‘We’re a little frustrated but, in the cold light of day, we are quite happy we got something at the end. We were very comfortable until a little bit of madness.’

GILLINGHAM 1 SHREWSBURY 1

ALEX RODMAN’S first goal for Shrewsbury rescued a point for Paul Hurst’s side after Deji Oshilaja had put Gillingham in front. Delighted Shrewsbury manager Paul Hurst said: ‘It’s a good point.’

NORTHAMPTON 3 COVENTRY 0

A SECOND-HALF hat-trick from Keshi Anderson earned Northampton a much-needed win. The game was held up several times as flares were thrown on to the pitch and Coventry fans ran on to protest at their owners.

FLEETWOOD 1 SOUTHEND 1

A LATE piledriver from David Ball earned a point for Fleetwood and extended their club record-busting unbeaten league run to 12 games. It came after Southend had dominated the first hour and taken the lead through Anthony Wordsworth (above). And Uwe Rosler insists his Fleetwood side will not ease up. He said: ‘Now we will be sitting together to set ourselves new targets, ambitious targets.’
