1 DENISE HORVATH-ALLAN

Denise’s son Charles went missing in 1989 when he was 20. He was last seen hitch-hiking in Kelowna, a city in British Columbia, Canada. Denise says her biggest fear is that she will die before she gets any answers.

2 PETER LAWRENCE

His daughter, the chef Claudia Lawrence, vanished in 2009 aged 35 following a day at work. Police haven’t any significan­t leads though it is believed she was murdered. Officers have now scaled back their investigat­ions.

3 RACHEL EDWARDS

Rachel’s brother Richey Edwards, a guitarist in Welsh rock band the Manic Street Preachers, went missing in 1995 aged 27. His car was found abandoned near the Severn Bridge and in 2008 he was presumed dead by police. Rachel has vowed not to give up her search.

4 PETER BOXELL

Peter’s 15-year-old son Lee went missing in 1988. Peter wrote the BGT song, I Miss You.

5 JAMES HAWKINS

James is the Missing People choirmaste­r. After 15 years of working with singers, he has seen first-hand how music can heal. He leads the group and is responsibl­e for helping Peter Boxell turn his lyrics into a song.

6 EMMA CULLINGFOR­D

Her mother, Sandra Hall, 57, went missing for a month in 2013 but was found dead near Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Police said that there were no suspicious circumstan­ces surroundin­g her death. Emma is one of the few members of the choir who has any answers.

7 PAM SARGENT

Pam is one of the volunteers at the Missing People Choir. She began her work there after her brother went missing for a year. He returned safe and sound.
