Celebs? No, minor stars with big egos
I pity those who follow the nonsense on show in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, with its minor stars such as Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo. The washed-up, small-time celebrities and failed politicians who populate it are those who could not quite make it, and here they are given their opportunity to shine in the sun of notoriety, massaging their egos and cashing in on the popularity that goes with it.
And how Boris Johnson must be squirming at his father Stanley’s venture into this nest of vipers.
Perhaps Boris, once his career collapses, will follow in his father’s footsteps. Denis Bruce, Glasgow Usually I detest reality shows but I’m a fan of I’m A Celebrity. It brightens up my winter evenings. A. Brown, Surrey
