Athletics set to extend Russia’s doping exile

RUSSIA, banned from the world indoor athletics’ championships next March over state-sponsored doping, could also be excluded from the European championships in August. It follows reports the Russian anti-doping agency is still not compliant with international rules. The country’s hopes of appearing at the Winter Olympics hang on a decision by the IOC on December 5.
