Nicole: I don’t regret my wild child past
SHE was the It Girl who fought drug addiction and had several run-ins with the law. But Nicole Richie – the daughter of singer Lionel Richie – reveals today that she has no regrets about her rebellious childhood.
‘Getting into trouble and going through everything in the public eye was good because if I had cleaned up without anyone knowing, maybe I would have figured out how to slip back into it,’ Nicole says in an interview with The Mail on Sunday’s You magazine today.
The 36-year-old found fame on the reality show The Simple Life with her then best friend Paris Hilton. But she is now a devoted mother who gets up at 5.30am every day, prefers green juice to bubbly, and imposes strict rules on her two children.
