A re­port on De­cem­ber 24 ‘Sealed with a kiss: friendly texts from vic­tim to “sex pest” Green…’ said Kate Maltby texted to Damian Green MP: ‘Sorry not to see you at the Spec­cie party. [Green of­fi­cial] was smooching the room on your be­half x.’ In fact, the text said the of­fi­cial ‘was work­ing the room smoothly on your be­half x’. The ac­com­pa­ny­ing pho­to­graph was an un­cropped ver­sion of the im­age orig­i­nally pub­lished in a na­tional news­pa­per.
