CHLOE GREEN’S ‘hot felon’ boyfriend Jeremy Meeks has finally got the seal of approval from her parents after they threw him a lavish birthday party last week.
Chloe, 26, and her mother Tina took a huge chalet in 1850, the most sought-after area of the ski resort of Courchevel – and then arranged for a helicopter to fly Meeks in for the celebration week of his life.
They regularly had lunch at Nammos, the flashiest restaurant in the French playground. Steaks at the venue cost £200 and a bottle of Dom Perignon can set guests back £10,000.
Courchevel 1850 is a favourite of Russian and Middle Eastern billionaires who spend more time splashing cash than skiing.
For his birthday lunch at another expensive restaurant, Le Cap Horn, Tina arranged for Meeks and the guests to dine on an entire lamb cooked on a spit, and a spe- cial strawberry and cream cake with his name written in chocolate. There were sparklers for candles, and the group took part in a vigorous rendition of Happy Birthday. Tina and Chloe later showered California- born Jeremy with expensive designer gifts. Says my source: ‘Tina sat next to him and sang him Happy Birthday in front of all her friends, proving that she approves of her daughter’s choice.’ Sir Philip, who once told friends he hoped the romance was just a phase, also seems to have swept Jeremy’s criminal past under the carpet. My source says: ‘He and Tina have realised that Chloe adores Jeremy and makes her happy – and whatever Chloe wants Chloe gets.’ Sir Philip didn’t make the party because of other commitments. Jeremy, who grew up in Stockton, California, the tenth most dangerous city in the US, is new to skiing. However, Chloe dressed him from head-to-toe in black l eather gear made by Bogner. His jacket cost £1,700. They have dated for nine months and Chloe has fuelled speculation of an engagement by wearing a diamond ring on her left hand.
